Indoors, outdoors, anywhere you go, help prevent the spread of COVID-19.  We can work together by staying apart.  #TogetherQC

  • Find spaces where you can keep distance from other.
  • Allow space for passing on the path.
  • Be with members of your household or go alone.

Stay up to date on COVID-19 resources using the 2-1-1 website or call feature.

The 2-1-1 website offers a search bar to find answers to specific questions regarding finding food, paying housing bills, and other essential services. You can also dial 211 on your phone to speak to someone who can help.

The Family Museum is offering free education videos.

The Family Museum is uploading videos regularly on their Facebook page ((including cooking demos, craft activities, science experiments, and workouts for the kids). Visit the Facebook page to watch!

Virtual Workout Options

Planet Fitness Live Work-Ins: National gym chain Planet Fitness is offering free and virtual classes for people at home. The new and free series will offer a variety of 20-minute fitness classes and workout routines through livestream and online. Check them out at:

YMCA Live Workouts: Dozens of YMCAs around the country are providing virtual classes, covering everything from cycling, mind and body fitness, and kids’ fitness. The YMCA is hosting programs in four different virtual “studios,” so there’s something for everyone.

Spirit of the Lake Yoga: Based in Minnesota, Spirit of the Lake is now offering dozens of free weekly yoga classes as often as three times a day. The virtual classes are free and accessible on computers and mobile devices.

SELF YouTube channel: This channel has equipment-free workouts you can do at home, offering workout styles like cardio, strength, and HIIT.

HASfit YouTube channel: These are a series of HIIT workouts that are made for at home use. Ranging from 10 minutes to over an hour, with equipment or without, there is something for everyone.

Doorstep Food Delivery Service Mar 30, 2020

Community Action Provides Hundreds of Delivered Boxes Community Action of Eastern Iowa has transformed its Davenport office into a food delivery warehouse and dispatch center. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the organization has increased its ability to provide food directly to the doorstep of households in Cedar, Clinton, Muscatine, and Scott Counties. Community Action is also providing diapers to families with young children. All services are offered at no cost to the household. The Agency is delivering more than 300 food boxes per week.
