Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
In partnership with the Iowa Department of Public Health, the Rock Island and Scott County Health Departments and Rock Island and Scott County Emergency Management Agencies are encouraging businesses and organizations to donate extra personal protective equipment (PPE) to assist health care providers and health care facilities responding to COVID-19.
Any type of PPE is welcomed:
Any organizations that have extra PPE supplies and are not needing them immediately are encouraged to donate them to help protect those responding to the disease. To donate PPE in Rock Island and Scott Counties, please contact Bill Horrell with the Salvation Army at 563-324-4808.

There has been interest in helping local health care providers and first responders with producing homemade masks. Please construct masks as requested by the health care facility where you plan to donate. If the health care facility does not have a specific plan, please review the Iowa Department of Public Health’s guidance:
